15 Large Apples?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Cassandra @ 2:37 am

I’ve prepared for naught.
Thanksgiving was going to be great fun. That was before my two boys got pneumonia and my hubby and I got bronchitis. Even though we’re all on antibiotics now, we don’t want to chance getting everyone sick, especially since one SIL is pregnant, and the other one and my 2 brothers all have finals coming up.
Do I really need a crockpot full of stuffing for the four of us (and I doubt Braden will eat it)? And what about those 15 gigantic granny smith apples destined for pie-hood?

  1. Apples hold pretty well — and the stuffing, well, it sounds yummy to me. I want some NOW.

I hope you guys feel better soon. I know being sick is a crummy way to spend a holiday. I will keep you all in my good thoughts and prayers.

    much love, Ging

  2. Thanks, Ginger. We’re kind of off and on today.
I think we are still going to do some sort of Thanksgiving meal, just not go all out (but way more than the usual dinner).

  4. Thanks for the compliment!
I think we’re going to have a nice Thanksgiving. We invited my in-laws to come over, but it looks like my FIL has caught the bug (they kept Braden a few nights ago). So we’ll see. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.
