Delightfully Gluten Free (TM)

New Flour to Try

I’ve been given some Better Batter flour, and I intend to do some experimentation to see how well it works in “regular” recipes.  If you have a recipe that you would like me to try out and see if this flour works well in it please let me know.  I will probably not be able to make any time-consuming recipes, but I am willing to try most things.  They say that you can even make a gluten yeast bread recipe using this flour, with some adjustments (like amount of water).

You may leave a comment with the recipe or link to it, or email the recipe to me at delightfullyglutenfree at gmail dot com.  I will be making some of these things for our walk next Saturday.

Speaking of our walk, if you are in or near the Fort Worth/Dallas area and would like to attend, please head to our website at www.northtexasgig.com and register.  You can also register at the park that morning (you will find directions at our website).  If you would like to contribute financially, you can donate via ActiveGiving.com.  All money raised will be used for local and national efforts for support, education, awareness, and research for Celiac Disease and gluten intolerance.

It will be a lot of fun!  We are going to have a bounce house and face painting, a silent auction and lots of big baskets of gf products being raffled off, and a big picnic!  There will even be a cake walk.  Don’t forget to bring some money for the raffles, silent auction, and reference books and cookbooks.  I hope to see you there!

I recently got some Better Batter GF Flour and I am a HUGE fan… I made some basic cupcakes from scratch and they were incredible. I also made Banana Bread and it was delicious and lasted forever without getting crumbly! I’m curious to know your experience as well! I am addicted… I wrote a post about them on my blog a week or so back…

(ps – the cinnamon rolls on the right side of your page look SO good!)
