PF Chang’s New GF Menu & Giveaway

Filed under: Uncategorized — Cassandra @ 9:12 pm

In case you didn’t see my tweet on Saturday, P.F. Chang’s launched a new gluten-free menu today.

A representative from P.F. Chang’s came to the North Texas Gluten Intolerance Group’s meeting, and brought a ton of lettuce wraps for us.
I love Chang’s lettuce wraps.

Well, if you’ve always gotten the same thing(s), now you can try something new.  There are now BEEF entrees for the first time, and a total of 28 dishes on the gluten-free menu.

I haven’t had a chance to try any of the new dishes yet, but I love the Singapore Street Noodles and the Chocolate Dome.  I just had some on my birthday last month (and I even used chopsticks for my whole plate of noodles, well, my half of the plate, anyways).

So, if you would like a chance to practice your chopstick skills (or even your fork skills), I’ve got a $25 gift card for P.F. Chang’s (provided by Dig Communications) for one lucky winner.  Leave me a comment about your favorite P.F. Chang’s or other Chinese food dish.  This giveaway will end at 9:00 pm central, on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

Read on for the press release and new gf menu from P.F. Chang’s.

  2. I loooove the spicy chicken. General Tso’s was always one of my favorite dishes growing up and this is a perfect replacement. My eyes water like I’m watching a sappy movie while I eat them, but yum, yum, yum!

    • PF Changs marinates all of their meat, except for the ground chicken, in egg. Be careful!

  6. Growing up (pre-gf) my fav Chinese dish was sweet & sour pork. At PF Changs I like the shrimp with lobster sauce, lettuce wraps, beef with broccoli (my new favorite dish-a must try! Sweet yet savory flavor) and of course the chocolate dome. They have a pear mojito that is pretty tasty for a pre dinner drink :-)

  10. Unfortunately I have walked by this restaurant many times in downtown Seattle and have never had the chance to stop in, even though I know they are gluten-friendly. I would love the opportunity to try them out. The menu sounds amazing!

  11. Love the Salmon! 2 yrs ago we ate at the KC Plaza one after a week of traveling without a good selection of GF and was starved! The manager took such good care of me, even had the lemon sauce made without corn because of additional allergy, and then wrote down exactly what I should ask for at any other PF Changs on the back of his card. His wife just happened to be a dietitian and he spent a lot of time at our table asking me a lot of questions. Would love the gift card to try their new menu when we travel for Easter and will surely find a PF Changs.

  19. Ginger Chicken and Broc is what I order most of the time post celiac at Chang’s. Spicy Chicken and eggplant were pre-celiac(still miss that meal) But I feel tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat reading this post….I am so excited about the expanded menu that we are going there on Friday night to eat.
Just occurred to me that you are in the DFW area too. We are in Grapevine. Glad to have found your blog. Diagnosed 2 years ago!! Still paving my way through this new life of eating:)

  23. I’m excited for more GF options at PF Chang’s. Maybe that will be enough to get dh to take me. It sounds like the flourless chocolate dome is a must try.

I have always loved potstickers, but don’t think we’ll be seeing a gf version for a long time. We really do enjoy spring rolls though.

  27. Ahhhh My favorite and my grandson’s favorite are the gluten free lettuce wraps at P. F. Changs. My grandson lives in a town that does not have a P. F. Changs – but Granny to the rescue. He calls and lets me know when he is coming to see us, that he wants to go eat “Lettuce Straps” At two, I guess that is what he thought we were ordering and at 3 the name has stuck with him. Would be delighted to receive the gift card and have a lunch date with my favorite “3″ year old.
