Can you believe the first week of December is almost over? I give the last of my finals to undergrads today, take my first final tonight, and I am finished with the semester next week. Phew! Thank goodness I worked hard earlier in the semester so that I don’t have to stay up until 2am like my fellow students to finish papers. I can honestly say I never tried this method before children.
But now, it is nearly time to reward myself for all of my hard work, and my husband and children for their love and patience.
I love egg nog at Christmas time, but it is often so full of things that I just don’t want in my drink that I rarely buy it.
The following Egg Nog recipe by Bravo’s Top Chef, Richard Blais is one that I will probably be trying soon. We’ll have to use a different yogurt to avoid the corn (for Braden), and we’ll definitely keep it alcohol-free, but it looks like a fun recipe to try.
Maybe it will help me through next week’s finals…
