Crunchmaster Popped Edamame Chips

I think we can all agree: popped chips are in.

I recently received some samples of Popped Edamame Chips from Crunchmaster, their newest product (not even on their website yet, apparently).

These chips definitely sport the edamame flavor.  They are very light and airy (well, they are air popped!).  It took me a few chips in, but they definitely grow on you.  For the Sea Salt type, I found that if you really want to taste the salt, you need to eat it with the inside of the curve touching your tongue.

Martin tried the Wasabi Soy first.  He’s much more into the spicy things than I am.  His great pearl of wisdom for me was that you can really taste the wasabi on the ones that are more powdery.  (Delete sarcastic comment here :/ )

As for me, I found out something extremely important: wasabi and I do not get along.  For the record, the only time I’ve ever tried wasabi was at a sushi restaurant and I thought I was going to die.  I think my friends Tara, Monica, and Kat would really enjoy them.

Martin and Carter used the Wasabi Soy chips to eat their rather thick taco soup, while Corice and I enjoyed the Sea Salt version.  They have a nice scooped shape that is great for dipping.

Crunchmaster Popped Edamame Chips are certified gluten-free and GMO-free.  They have 3 grams of protein per 18-chip serving.

So, how many of you join Martin and Carter in enjoying the wasabi?
