The second week of school is almost over. Besides a serious pain in my neck (I can barely turn my head – I spend way too much time at the computer now), what do I have on my mind? I’m thinking about dutch
You’re probably wondering why I am thinking about cookware right now. Well, it’s because CSN Stores, parent company of Cookware.com, is offering up a $65 gift card to one lucky reader of Delightfully Gluten Free.
Oh yeah.
Who wants a new…?
Here’s the deal: leave a comment about something you would like to have in the kitchen, or something you didn’t even know people made. For instance, I didn’t know there was such a thing as a vegetable sharpener. But there is.
This giveaway is open to U.S. and Canadian readers. It will close at 9:00pm Central on Saturday, September 18th.
Pssst… There are still a few more days to enter Part 1 of the Giveaway Extravaganza and Part 2 of the Giveaway Extravaganza.

I could go for a nut grinder. I always wanted to make my own almond/peanut butter… and I could grind corn flour!
I have been keeping an eye out for a deal on a griddle or a cast iron skillet. I would make GF pancakes (even though I’m more of a waffle girl) and tortillas all the time. A good rice cooker or GF bread maker would be good additions to my kitchen as well. Other than those I think I have all the other cooking items I need right now.
I’d love an indoor grill or cast iron skillet. They have some beautiful stuff!
I need a whole lot of kitchen wares because I just moved out of my parents’ house into my new apartment. I love to cook but cannot afford all the necessities at this stage. Specifically, I would like baking sheets, nice knives, a slow cooker, and more. Thanks for your column, I lobe reading it!
A really nice set of knives would be a huge improvement in my kitchen….what a neat giveaway!
I could use a good cast iron _____
I’ve been saving up for an ice cream maker. Just recently, I decided I will just buy the ice cream maker attachment for my Kitchen Aid. So that is probably what I would buy!
I’d finally get a mandolin slicer. Not real sure what I’d do with it but I’ve always wanted one. Or I could stand to get a new skillet.
I could really use a heavy bottomed stock pot. I make soup a lot and my pot is never big enough.
I’d like to have one of those enamel coated dutch ovens. They are so pretty, and I would use it for a roast with veggies, cooking away all afternoon.
I could really use some new knives.
I would choose either a grill pan or Silpats, one of mine needs to be retired!
Thanks!
I’d like to have a CHEF in my kitchen! But – I also would like an egg slicer – I’ve heard they are good for cutting strawberries!
I would like an enameled dutch oven. Just think of all the goodies I could make with that.
My kitchen needs a cast iron dutch oven! well. at least another one! 🙂
kitchenaid mixer would be nice also, but don’t think the gift cert will cover that one!
I need new skillets. Someone decided it would be easier to run ours through the dishwasher then cleaning them, and they came out with the anodized coating all messed up. Of course, then I got the “this is why I shouldn’t be doing the dishes!”
ooh, I’d love an indoor grill, or a new microplane, or a new zester, or…
I really, really love things for the kitchen!
I would love an enameled cast iron pot or a cast iron grill pan.
I’d like a KitchenAid mixer.
Food Processor!
I would like some silpats or an indoor grill.
I would like to have a Panini Press. Soup and sandwich season coming up soon!

I’d love to have a nice kitchen scale–mine is a plastic, analog one that only goes up to a pound and is so lightweight that anything over two ounces falls off of it or knocks it over!
I really need a new set of pots and pans, or new cookie sheets!!
I’ve always wanted to get a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.
I could use just about anything new at this point. I have a shared kitchen, and keep finding my stuff being used to cook gluten containing items…. I could really use a new chopper thingy though, tired of having to use a blender to chop and reduce item sizes, and trying not to accidentally liquefy in the process…
As for your new kitchen gadget, I would HIGHLY recomend a Dutch oven, the indoor grills don’t cook evenly due to the type of heat they use so they’re not as useful, but you can use a Dutch oven for just about everything!
And as for my wish list… I still haven’t managed to procure a Viking mixer just yet, but the seashell teacake pans and cactus shaped corn bread pans on cookware.com would be quite amusing additions to my collection of odd and unusual pans. I also need a new set of basic spatulas for cooking as well.
There are a few coffee makers I have my eye on. Now I just need to convince my wife we need to get one.
i like to search the internet for new kitchen gadgets to add to my kitchen ‘”~
