December means everything covered in chocolate or white chocolate (or yogurt) and sprinkles or peppermint, right?
The answer is yes…or maybe not always…but some things are super happy that way.
Take these limited edition Peppermint
Oh, yes. Â They did.
Corice is just nodding her head, over and over, like a little bobblehead doll. Â I’ve had to put the lid bag on my container…4 times…
You’ve got your basic slightly buttery-flavored pretzel (or at least it seems that way with the candy covering), the salty bits that sneak up out of the smooth yogurt covering and the big chunks of peppermint.
See how happy that snowman is? 😉
It says “Psst… stick me in your bag and smuggle me into the movies…or just eat me right now.”
I found out today, while reading my students’ Thanksgiving extra credit assignments (food diaries with calorie, fat, carb, and protein counts, and exercise diaries) that two of my students in one class are gluten-free (and another lives with a gluten-free family). Â Small world now, isn’t it? Â One of the students said her food diary was so small because she has a gluten allergy. Â That just made me a little sad, because there are so many wonderful gluten-free products out now!
I challenge you to find something new this month. Â Is it sweet and decadent, savory, healthy…? Â What new wonderful things can you find for Christmas?
