Tomorrow morning, the North Texas Gluten Intolerance group will be having our monthly support group meeting. Instead of a speaker, however, we will be getting ready for the Gluten-Free Makeover event. So come help us, if you can, put together the final touches. If that’s not a good enough reason for you, The Mellow Mushroom will be serving us hot gluten-free pizza!

Wow, what a list! For a $25 ticket, you’re going to get a serious bang for your buck.
To learn more, check out northtexasgig.com. When you get there, come find me. You know where I’ll be – at the book table, selling cookbooks, gluten-free lifestyle and medical books, and support materials. We’ll also have our newly updated restaurant guide!
And since we’re talking about cookbooks, North Texas GIG would like to offer a cookbook for a giveaway, to get you excited about the Gluten-Free Makeover! I’m going to give one lucky commenter a copy of Gluten-Free Cookies by Jeanne Basye (you may remember this from my very first giveaway ever).
Here’s the cookie scoop: Peruse the Gluten-Free Makeover event page, and tell me something that excites you about this. I shouldn’t need to give you any hints.
This contest is only open to those in the U.S. It will close at 9:00pm central on Monday, September 20, 2010.
